Registration is now closed. DL for early registration is March 31st.

Late registration is open until April 17th, but we encourage all participants to register early.


For a site talk, choose the "Site presentation" in the registration form after agreeing with the head of your site. Fill in the title of your talk (abstract not needed). Each participating Nordic MEG site is given a 1-hour slot at the conference that they may organize in a manner that best represents the work at their site.

 

For a poster submission, choose "Poster presentation" in the registration form, and fill in the title of your poster and a very brief abstract outlining your topic (max 100 words).


If you want to be considered for a brief oral presentation (4 min), choose the "short talk" option in the registration form, and fill in the title of your talk and a very brief abstract outlining your topic (max 100 words). Note that the submission deadline for being considered for a short talk is March 31st.


For the OPM workshop, please indicate if you will participate only in the educational lectures or in the hands-on sessions (limited number of seats). We encourage you to register early for the hands-on session to increase the probability of being selected.


Everyone is welcome to register to the conference dinner on Monday 8th, but in case the event is filled up, seats will be distributed evenly across sites, and priority will be given to presenters. Only registered participants can participate in the evening program due to space limits.

MEG lab tour and demonstrations


We are organizing a lab tour and hands-on demonstration to the MEG Core center on Tuesday 9.5 at 16.30.


During the you will familiarize yourself with the MEG facilities at Aalto University and take part in a hands-on demo on how to synchronize #1 EyeLink eye tracker, #2 Presentation/E-Prime/Psychopy/MATLAB stimulus systems, and ProPixx projector to Elekta/MEGIN MEG system.

Travel grant for early career researchers


There is now an opportunity to obtain a travel grant to attend MEG Nord 2023. Maximum amount available per grant is 500€ to cover travel and accommodation costs. The travel grant does not cover daily allowances. In the application, please include a short justification for applying for the grant. Applicants are expected to present their work at the meeting (either as a poster or a short talk). Priority is given to applicants who do not have other funding available by their institute. To be eligible for the travel grant the applicant should be affiliated with one of the participating sites of MEG Nord, and be traveling to the meeting from outside the Helsinki region.
